Chaplain - Done.

This is Chaplain Tapeius Maro Leader of the Legionnaire's.

 I managed to sneak in a couple of hours of Painting last night and i managed to Finish him off and start on the Legionnaire's.

So here he is:

Just Assembled 3 of the Assault Marines which the chaplain will be attached to. I still have 3 more to make i am just waiting on their Torso's to arrive in the mail.

This Unit of Assault Marines will have special rules when i'm playing friendly games and games with my mates but have the same rules as a normal AM in any other games i play. Basically they are called Legionnaires and are hand picked by the chaplain to be his personal squad. They are Veterans in the role as an Assault Marine and have proven themselves the best in their old Squads. they are covered in seals given to them by the Chaplain to show their skill and prowess and given unique armor to separate them from the other AM's.

So without further ado here they are the first WIP photo's of the Legionnaires

Note: I am waiting for a few more Purity Seal's to arrive in the mail and a couple more moulding lines need to be cleaned up.

Its a Planet!

Catch up at work has kept my hobby work at a minimum and so far i have only just started on Chaplain Tapeius Maro and will have his pictures up as soon as he is done.

But For the moment here is something i whipped up the other night while watching tv.

This is the planet Pentraia. Here is where the theme for my crusade will be from and what i would (eventually) like my game board to represent.

Quick Prologue:-  The Crusade Fleet Genesis has finished visiting its recruitment worlds and now stands at full strength. While heading to a distant system the Scanners on board the lead battlecrusier (Apollo) picked up a the trail of a Tyranid spore. Under the order of Marshal Demetrius Hawk they changed course to follow the swarm.

Now the trail has led them to a lonely planet called Pentraia. Admiral Jericho of the Battlecruiser Apollo has just received the report from his probes sent to the planet's surface.

It's Back.....

Seems almost an eternity ago that i started this blog and its been almost that long since i updated it.
My reason as to why???, well i have been on long service leave in Japan enjoying the Snow and running around Tokyo.

Well now im back and the tower of unpainted/unassembled Minis sitting next to me demands that i get back to where i was before.

So yesterday i Started on my Custom BT Assault Squad led by Chaplain Tapeius Maro
and i will hopefully have pics up of them soon.

It Begins.

Just ordered some box's from my eBay guy so they should be here by the middle of next week (hopefully).
Ive ordered :-

1x Dreadnought
1x Forge World Venerable Dreadnought Parts (Black Templar)
1x Terminator Close Combat Squad
1x Black Templar Terminator Storm Shield's
and my New Marshal Which will be converted and equipped with a thunder hammer and power-fist.

So as soon as they arrive i will get some pics up and we will officially start my blog.

Its ALIVE!!!

After Months of thinking should i? or shouldn't i? i have done it, i have created my first Blog.
I will mainly discuss my building and painting here and occasionally i might have something else to say....... so stay with me it wont be all bad.

My Current Projects are:

•  Black Templar's Crusade ( known as the Genesis Crusade )
• Space Wolves ( Bjorn Stormwolf's Great Company ) 
• Imperial Guard (101st Elysian Drop Troop Regiment)

Currently i'm working mainly on the Black Templar's force as they will be the biggest (at 3500pts) so expect to see some conversions and models up here soon.
